"Serving the Communitys
Greatest Need"
|
Kinsmen was founded by Hal Rogers.
Encouraged by his father to join the Rotary Club, he held his own meeting with
a small group of friends instead, and in 1920, the Kinsmen Club was born.
Today, Kinsmen and Kinettes promote positive values and foster national pride
through their fundraising projects and work with the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis
Foundation
An all Canadian service club,
Kinsmen Clubs, on the national average, raise more money for their communities
and provide more community service then any other service club in the nation.
|
The Barrie Kinsmen Club was chartered on
April 20, 1949 with 21 members.
